It's been a very busy last couple of months at TechScience, with our participation in 3 different events through out the UK, as part of our continuous effort to promote IDEA StatiCa, this unique solution for the analysis & design of Steel connections, and spread the word about the incredible possibilites that offers to structural engineers....

We are delighted to be invited in this year's TEKLA Conference, taking place on Thursday 1st December 2016, at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry, and present IDEA StatiCa to the participants throughout the day, as part of the product demonstrations....

We are delighted to continue our presentations for IDEA StatiCa thought out the UK, with an event organized by the Canterbury forum (iStructE) on 22nd of September 2016. The event will take place at the Kent & Canterbury Club from 19:00pm, and it is free to participate. During the presentation we will make a short introduction on CBFEM, the new method for analyzing & designing steel connections, and we will also demonstrate in detail IDEA StatiCa through real examples. For registering at the event, and for any other information, please contact Mr. Brian Stocker at bjstocker@me.com. DETAILS Place: Kent and Canterbury Club – The Elms, Old Dover Road, Canterbury Time: September 22nd 2016, from 7.00pm to 9.30pm Participation: Free (with registration)...

TechScience Ltd. is pleased to announce that IDEA StatiCa Steel – the world’s most powerful steel connection design software will be exhibiting for the first time in the UK, at the Build Show on stand B3/635, as part of UK Construction Week, taking place at the Birmingham NEC on 18 – 20 October 2016.   PRESS RELEASE 17 June 2016 IDEA STATICA – THE REINVENTION OF STEEL CONNECTION DESIGN AT UK CONSTRUCTION WEEK For the first time in the UK, TechScience Ltd. – a software provider for the AEC industry based in London – will be showcasing IDEA StatiCa Steel, that has reinvented the way we analyse & design steel connections. IDEA StatiCa Steel has filled a huge gap that existed in structural engineering for many years, between simple software that are not capable of handling complex connections, and highly sophisticated FEM tools that are not productive enough to be used by practicing engineers, and...

TechScience and Southampton Solent University are organizing a seminar next Tuesday evening (23/2), on the Design of Steel Connections with the new CBFEM method and IDEA Connection. The participation is FREE, and all engineers located in the south part of England are welcome to join us, and discover this new breakthrough technology that has revolutionize the Steel connection design. The seminar presents an introduction into to CBFEM from a research and practical perspective. It will cover the theoretical background, as well as introduce IDEA Statica, a software application that utilizes CBFEM for the design of Steel Connections. Below are the details of the seminar: Date:  Tuesday 23/2/2016 Time:  18:00 for 18:30 Duration:  1h with 30’ for Q&A Venue:  Hamble Conference Room, Southampton Solent University Conference Centre, Sir James Matthews Building, 157-187 Above Bar St., Southampton SO14 7NN Places are limited so please book in advance via email at: Panagiotis.Patlakas@solent.ac.uk    ...

Our first event in the UK, a workshop for IDEA Connection and CBFEM was successfully held in iStructE headquarters in London last week, with main speakers Professor Frantisek Wald from University of Prague (a pioneer in connection design and member of the technical committee TC 10 Connections of ECCS) and our collegues from IDEA RS, Mr. Lubomir Sabatka – CEO and Mr. Juraj Sabatka – International sales & Marketing manager. The attendants, coming from some of the most respectable engineering firms in the UK, like ARUP, BuroHappold, Thomassons, Pell Frischmann, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, and others, had the opportunity to be informed by the creators of CBFEM and IDEA Connection about this new technology that opens a new era in steel connection design, and what it can offer to structural engineers. The feedback that we got during and after the workshop was very positive, and everyone was impressed by the simplicity, the...
